Lambada

Ahhhh, bee balm. One of our personal favorites and this flower thrives in our hot and dry climate. When harvesting, we are surrounded with bees, hummingbirds and butterflies.

This is a great lavender colored flower for beginners to grow. You cannot fail!

Lambada needs full sun and will easily reach 2-3 feet tall. We start the seeds indoors and plant outside in the fall. They sprout in 1-2 weeks and once they are 3-5 inches tall, we get them outside!

Snapdragons

The snapdragon was our first flower grown on the farm with early spring blooms that last well into summer. There are several varieties, but we seek out the tall, sturdy ones that florists love!

Our first snapdragon booms are always the Chantilly. However, one it heats up, they are the first ones to fizzle out. So, we also grow other varieties that can handle the longer days. You’ll find varieties that grow up to 3 feet tall including Opus, Madame Butterfly and our latest bloomer, Rocket.

We always start snapdragons indoors and plant in the Fall.
